About Me

My Name is Daniel Tattersall - owner of DT Sports Therapy. I graduated form Edge Hill University with an honours degree in Sports Therapy in 2025.

During my studies I worked within the universities on-site clinic delivering sports therapy services to people from all walks of life, some with sporting backgrounds and some who simply enjoy a walk.

This work enabled me to be able to effectively communicate with patients, understand their concerns and make a difference with my skills, returning them to pain free activity.

I also undertook a professional placement with Chorley Football Club where I was later offered a permenant role upon my graduation. Having been in this role for over 12 months now I have grown my understanding of phases of healing, rehabilitation stages & how to keep athletes at the top of their game. These skills transfer over into my own practice and I apply the key fundamentals to all patients.

I also work with collegiate athletes at The Steven Gerrard Academy, this role presents new challenges such as managing expectations on young people, educating them on their issue and carefully guiding growing bodies through rehab and prehab plans weekly.
